The UTPD K-9 Unit was called to assist in providing
explosive sweeps for VIP protection in association with
the 50th anniversary celebration of the 180th Air
National Guard Unit. The unit was responsible for
sweeping key operational facilities as well as cars that
were left unattended in parking lots.
